Located in the heart of Co. Armagh, Reids Food Hall celebrates the local agricultural scene, supporting farmers and providing the local community with a wide variety of fresh produce.
The interior style pays homage to a traditional farmers market breaking the stereotype of sterile grocery stores.
Working with architects McCadam Stewart and branding specialist Alan Jackson the Terry team designed and fitted the concept for the 13,000 m2 store and restaurant.
Distressed timber sets off the vibrant produce, reclaimed gym bars create a living garden wall with old gym flooring and box section steel forming a suspended canopy framing the deli and butchery. Industrial style steel windows separate the specialist wine tavern from the timber clad express checkouts.
Farmhouse style doors characterise the shop and provide passage into the adjacent restaurant, The Scullery.
Comfortable leather upholstery and earthy materials soften the interior giving it an authentic country feel with low level lighting creating a warm and inviting atmopshere. Original style tiles guide customers to the deli counters clad in timber distressed to resemble barn wood, the slate stone dividing wall creates a cohesive look with the facade of the building and industrial steel window panes framed in barn wood gives customers a sense of privacy.
