Inspired by the owners’ travels and four years living in Australia, they wanted to bring a piece of the café culture they experienced to the capital. Situated in an up and coming suburb of Dublin, this former chicken shop underwent a transformation from greasy takeaway into a beautiful neighbourhood café.
The approach to the design of the space was simplicity and quality. Solid ash, powder coated steel and concrete tiles were the core palette. Muted shades of grey were used on the walls and ceilings, along with a striking charcoal grey façade. Linear lines were a feature in the lighting, counter cladding and communal table.
Small touches of industrial design include the salvaged school chairs and steel coat hanger. Overall the interior is simple, clean, elegant and welcoming, allowing for the clients to add their own personal touches and creating a beautiful backdrop for the superb food offering.
